PRESS RELEASE Uratibu Intelligence Desk

Uratibu Opens Its Newsroom

A single place for the briefs, field notes and announcements that were previously circulated privately.

Uratibu has published analysis for governments, development partners and institutions for some time, but that work has travelled by attachment: a PDF forwarded to the people who needed it, and rarely further. This newsroom gives it an address.

What gets published here

Briefs are the long-form pieces: an election read, an infrastructure performance review, an evaluation of where public investment actually landed. They carry their method with them, because a number without its derivation is just an assertion.

Field notes are shorter. A data drop worth flagging, a measurement problem worth naming, something learned in a county that will save somebody else a week.

Announcements cover the firm itself: partnerships, capabilities, and the occasional correction.

On method

Uratibu publishes what it can derive and says plainly when an instrument does not yet exist to measure something. Where a figure is modelled rather than observed, it is labelled as modelled. That convention holds here as it does in client work.
